“Funding has been provided to Hernando Historical Museum Assoc., Inc from the National Endowment for the Humanities through a grant from Florida Humanities as part of the 2020 Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act of 2020.”
The Museum Association has received two (2) generous grants from the Florida Humanities for relief from the effects of having to be closed during the Corona Virus pandemic. A total of $8,000 has kept the A/C on, and provided for the security systems and other utilities to be paid. The funds have also provided for sanitizing equipment and supplies in preparation of re-opening
